This is the non-image, the bit in-between or at the end of a roll where light has leaked through the back of the camera and onto the film. These lost chemical reactions have been hunted down and dragged kicking and screaming into the light of day. These abstractions and aberrations are affronts to what a photograph should be, these things that lurk outside the frame and hope to avoid our attention. This is the unwanted system noise bleeding through. Time moves backwards. These are the last gasps of the medium.
